Keswick  Museum & Art Gallery – Station Road - Keswick  017687 73263. The District Council in Workington wanted to close it down. The locals said no and now it is run by a small bunch of professionals and volunteers

Keswick  Labour club and Institute – Elmgrove, Main Street – Keswick 017687  72705.  Ramshackle Building with huge entertainment hall, cosy atmosphere and cheap beer.

Keswick Convention - Skiddaw Street – Keswick  017687 80075. Every year 10,000 people cram in to Keswick during the end weeks of July and the beginning of August to attend this Christian jamboree. The crime rate plummets and the pubs struggle for trade.
